Description
Shawaag is a 3 year old by the extremely succesful sire Kodiac. Kodiac has sired multiple Group and Group 1 winners including Kodi Bear, Hello Youmzain, Campanelle, Best Solution, Fairyland, amongst a number of others.
Shawaag’s Dam, Question has proved a successful mare producing 5 individual winners with the majority of her progeny all reaching a respectable level. The highlight of her progeny is Clem Fandango who was 3rd in the 2016 running of the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot behind Lady Aurelia. She then went onto gain further black type including an impressive success in the Listed Rosebery Stakes and 2nd in the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes.
He has so far raced 3 times, finishing 2nd twice, and fourth once.
Shawaag is bred to be a very fast sprinter and we expect him to be running over 5 and 6 furlongs. He has been pleasing us at home and has been showing a lot of talent. He made his debut at Brighton finishing 2nd, showing plenty of speed before tiring late on.
He then finished 4th at Windsor before being beaten by a neck at Lingfield, leading everywhere but the line. He looks to have a promising future.
