Siam Fox made his first start for Orbital Racing and trainer Kevin Frost at Newcastle last Friday in a Class 4 0-85, 1 Mile Handicap.
In what looked like a very competitive 13 runner handicap with most horses in good form and having the benefit of recent runs, Siam Fox ran a brilliant race to finish 3rd, beaten a nose for 2nd. He travelled very enthusiastically in midfield before being pulled out going easily with 2 furlongs to go and ran on nicely eventually finishing 3rd. This was a very encouraging run after 146 days off the track and he looks sure to benefit from the run and should be even sharper next time.
It was great to see him back to form and the stable switch to Kevin Frosts seems to have done him the world of good. Kevin has done a great job with Siam Fox and we hope he can build on this run and climb back up the handicap rankings. He looks sure to provide his owners with a lot of fun going forward.
We still have available shares in him in what looks great value in a horse now going in the right direction, picked up at great value. Please get in touch if you would like to hear more.
